We must note, though, that there are a lot of items that you can spawn in the game. There are even some handy descriptions of each item so you’ll know exactly what it is that you’re adding to your inventory. Thankfully, you have an angel in disguise out there on the internet who has done the research for you. While bringing up the prompt to do so isn’t exactly difficult, you’ll still need the proper code to spawn the item you seek.
If you’re looking to just jump in and mess around with all of the different mechanics in Starbound, you’ll probably just want to spawn in any items you may need. For others, that sounds like nothing more than a chore sent from video game hell. For many, that just adds to the fun of exploring and scavenging the different planets on offer. If you’re a true explorer, at some point you’re going to find yourself needing at least one of each and every thing in the game. There are a lot of different items in Starbound, ranging from chunks of ice to powerful weapons.
