Revae: "Alone, except for three new music tracks by Hexenmapper (Tom Jensen)."

Have you worked on the new content alone or at least some members of the original team came back "for one last time", sort of speak? If it had turned out to be a huge hurdle then Sunken Land probably would've been free." I think it was more of a 'probably' thing, but I hadn't really looked into the logistics of that until much later. Revae: "I don't remember if I planned on a commercial release at the start or not. What was your inspiration for Sunken Land's new episode and was it always planned as a commercial release?

Also, make sure you read his Nods to Mods interview at the Slayers Club as this "article" will serve as unofficial follow up to that.Īlright, let's start from the beginning. If you're on the same boat as me, you can try out the original free version of the game that's still freely available here in case you want to try it out before venturing into the Sunken Land. It's during moments like this I was able to reach out to one and only Matthew "Revae" Little, the creator of REKKR, to have "a little chat" about the upcoming expanded version of his total conversion with the subtitle "Sunken Land" that's coming out today, as well as his new hobby and other things in general.īefore getting started, I would like to thank Revae again for giving me this opportunity: it was an honor, and now I must make sure that I actually play REKKR in the near future. While it's not getting easier for me overall (far from it), I've managed to at least dedicate some of my time to this blog. There's a lot going in our lives right now and, often it directly impacts what we can and can't do. While what's already here is really fantastic and I'm glad I paid for it, I'm hoping to see updates that fix these issues fast, it's still a beta.REKKR: Sunken Land Screenshot.

3 is that it feels unfinished, despite the touch menus being taken straight from Delta Touch, the weapon wheel function isn't working right, custom inputs are keys that can't be remapped within the games leaving you with messages like salute, taunt and wave in Quake 2, thus leaving you unable to rebind their functions in the options menu of the game, it's still rough. Every single time despite the fact this is relegated to an item in the game, that needs serious fixing asap, it's frustrating. One is performance in Quake 3 and Open Arena, it's not great as QIII4A beats Quad Touch in this aspect and two is in Hexen 2, pressing the B button on my controller turns me into a sheep. It's fantastic but I can't give it a 5 star as it stands for several reasons. This is an another excellent batch of source ports from Open Touch Gaming - a real joy to play Quake, Quake 2, Quake 3, Open Arena and Hexen 2 and perhaps a massive slew of mods on your phone - or if you're like me, you fancy a controller and are probably using an Nvidia Shield.
